It's a new beginning

It's definitely been awhile since i've written anything. i found myself lost in a world trying to find my way back. good thing my loving Savior showed up & saved me again. that  is something i think that we tend to forget, how God loves us no matter what we did. there are those who chose to do wrong & know that they are forgiven for it, here's a small warning to those who do this. you can only push God so far.

There are also those people who struggle with just letting go of the past. well guess what, God did so you can. i'm not saying that you have to an one instant, if you can that's awesome! God made us, He sees our hearts & knows what we want. sometimes we forget that He's in control. i have one thing to say, today isn't the new beginning, it was the day He was nailed to the cross.God loves you for who you were, who you are, & who you will become.

Blink of an Eye

over the past couple of months a couple of my friends have been in terrible accidents. talk about wake up calls not only for them but for me. we have never been promised tomorrow so what right do we have to live the day for ourselves? God put us on this planet to live for him & him alone.

the first accident was my friend bethany, she has helped me through so much. God's love is something crazy in her, she is one of the most amazing people i have ever met. she takes you for who you are & doesn't ask for anything else. i got a phone call from one of my friends and he told me that my friend bethany was in a accident. i lost it, i started crying & just wanted to see her. i didn't know anything til the next day that she was stable & doing well. that was the first time that i realized that we are not promised tomorrow or the next second. 

last night one of my closest friends that i love so dearly is my friend morgan.  yes she is a bit younger than me but my goodness we are such good friends it's ridiculous. i can't even stand being away from her for a day. well last night she sent me a text at 9:46pm telling me that she got into a car accident. my first thought was i needed to get to her & see that she was ok. i just wanted to hold her, i didn't want to let her get hurt again. i took off to see her & when i got there i just held on to her for dear life. now since she is younger than me this was an even bigger scare to me because this just proves even more that we are not promised anything.

i thank God for these girls, God is going to do some amazing things with these lives of theirs. live like you only have the next 5mins. you never know when it's time to go.

i am so sorry about not blogging lately, i have to actually cut down to once a week due to a hectic schedule!

Genesis 1:1-5

Genesis 1:1
1: In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 
2: The earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.


So just the thought of that is crazy! First of all, God just MADE the heavens & the earth. Now i don't know about you but that's pretty amazing. It's a hard concept to grasp yes, just think about it for one second. How could evolution even be possible without organisms? I don't know about you but everything else in this world has to be made or assembled, so I think the thought of creation is looking like it's the only logical explanation so far. 


3: And God said "let there be let," and there was light. 


Now i don't know about you but I would love being able to lay in bed and be able to say "lights! off!" or "Lights on!" The one who created the earth which is still the only planet that is sustainable of life, has light to bring us new life. When I say new life I think of 2 things right away. First of all we get a new day every time we wake up in the morning and take a breathe which brings a whole new day to change our lives and better ourselves. God knows we are not perfect but He's given us a new chance every time we wake up or every time we make a mistake. The second thing is the sun gives us food and we all love to eat. Ever think about where that pizza came from? It may be from a factory but think about where all the ingredients came from. The cheese from a cow, the pepperoni from a pig, and the sauce & crust from veggies & grains. Thank God for pizza! 


4: God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness.


Not a hard concept at all but I find it interesting how light goes two ways. Because just like Jesus who is the light of the world and the son of God, the light is from the sun which was created by God. So not only does God have a Son who is so beautiful to love us and die for us on a cross to bring light to us but God also created something that was so beautiful to reveal true beauty to us in the light of everyday.


5: God called the light "day," and the darkness "night." And there was evening, and there was morning-the first day.


I would have to say the first 5verse of Genesis are pretty amazing, God just created a whole universe in a matter of a day. Glad to say that He is my God, anytime I'm walking around I get to look to anything that is beautiful and say my daddy created that. God is the creator to everything on this earth, and He is the Father to all of child. I'm a daddy's girl, well my daddy made this universe. Can your dad top that?

Psalm 139:12

but even in darkness I cannot hide from you. To you the night shines as bright as day. Darkness and light are the same to you.

Word of advice, you can hide nothing from God. Live everyday in such a way to know and to be sure that you have nothing to hide.

Everything has a beginning, Genesis (Intro.)

Everything has a beginning, a Genesis. The beginning of God's story of interactions with humanity is found in the very first words of the bible. In the beginning God created. From the start God was present. He was at work.


However, in the freshness of A New World where the first man and woman walked & talked with God, sin had slithered into marrying creation forever. But the God who hung every star in place and laid every grain of sand on the shore, had from the very beginning a plan. The whole Scripture, and indeed the whole known as history was unveiled within the seeds of Genesis. It was & will be many years before we seed the fruit of those seeds, but they are not years of dormancy. Throughout the world & within it individuals live, God IS actively working! He is working to redeem his creation. In Genesis we see him form covenants, bestow blessings, test faithfulness and turn evil intentions into a greater good - all for the purpose of redeeming the people that He created in His image. It's work that will continue until the end of time, but the beginnings for all of it are found where it began, Genesis.

Why did i make this blog? i asked myself the same thing.

so i made this blog a few days ago, after i made it i was like well why did i make a new blog? simple answer i came up with was even though i don't know if people are reading my blog or not there is always the chance that someone will. what a better chance for me to just talk about my King Jesus than on a blog. i love journaling but writing isn't always easy to do throughout the day.
there are definitely a couple goals with this blog,


One: Get the word of God out!
Two: do a new post every day!
finally,
Three: Just tell of God's amazing Love & what His son Jesus did to save us.
